The Department of Peace Studies, Institute of Religion, Culture, and Peace (Peace Lab), and the Faculty of Humanities and Communication Arts of Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand is organizing its First Annual International Conference on Religion, Culture, Peace, and Education. Themes related to the arts, communication, community development, conflict studies, cultural studies, divinity, education, ethnic studies, gender studies, human rights, humanities, interfaith dialogue, international studies, peace studies, philosophy, programming, social justice, social sciences, theology, positive actions for social change, and all other related fields are welcome. Registration is free. Publication of accepted papers is free.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, so that those who could not travel could still submit and present their research. We will observe all health protocols: face mask, hand sanitizers, vaccination, and social distancing. In the event of strict quarantine and lockdown, the whole conference shall be held online only.
We invite scholars and practitioners to submit a 200-250-word proposal online. The deadline for the online submission of proposals is on February 15, 2022. The deadline for the submission of the full 6-page max single-spaced papers of peer-reviewed and accepted proposals is on March 22, 2022. Accepted papers shall be published as the Conference Proceedings in the e-book format. Papers will be subjected to peer review.
